Who are we?


Center for sustainable development and traffic safety (CORBS) is a non-governmental, independent and non-profit organization. CORBS was founded by the group of experts in the areas of sustainable development, ecology and traffic safety with the joint goal to contribute to the development of the existing infrastructure as well as to the genuine level of sustainable development and traffic safety both in and outside Serbia.

CORBS vision

CORBS founders agreed on the following vision of the organization for the reference year 2020: In 2020 CORBS is one of the leading organizations in the area of sustainable development and traffic safety in the region with a feasible effect on the development of the genuine population which is proved by implementation of at least 10 projects and campaigns both on domestic and international stage. In the year 2020, members of the CORBS team are internationally recognized promoters of the sustainable development and traffic safety. Hence, their opinions are carefully taken in consideration by decision makers. With well developed thematic and strategic partnerships in and outside Serbia, CORBS has become strong voice in debate on the latest issues in the area of sustainable development and traffic safety. 

CORBS mission

CORBS mission includes following: knowledge development of the genuine population (above all youth and children) in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety; development of the alternative policies and proposals so as to upgrade existing infrastructure in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety; establishment of a network consisting of decision makers, business and non-governmental sector so as to advocate for the alternative solutions in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety; development and publishing of books and other publications in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety; media coverage and promotion of activities in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety so as to more efficiently present the aforementioned areas to the wider public; development and implementation of projects in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety as well as organization of seminars and workshops in the areas of sustainable development and traffic safety.
